Medium yellow. Exotic aromas of apricot, yellow plum and clove. Supple, fat and full, with a honeyed, carnal quality and sound balancing acidity. Very ripe yellow fruitflavors are clean and fresh. Not especially complex, but finishes with very good length. The '03 is richer, but this comes across as fresher today.

Space limitations preclude including tasting notes. 2002 was an average vintage.
Aromas of peach, nutmeg and honey; somewhat dulled by a resiny nuance. Then spicy and honeyed in the mouth, with a suggestion of yellow raisin. Not a particularly fruity style, but boasts good power, length and finishing sweetness.
Mid- to deep copper. Sleek, slightly oaky, savoury nose – even more intense than de Myrat. Definitely still some oak on the nose. Good try but at the moment there is no sign that the various elements of ripe fruit and marked acidity plus oak influence are going to marry together. Not sure. (JR)
