1995 de Malle

The 1995 Château de Malle has a burnished amber hue. Fully mature on the nose, it offers orange pith, beeswax, nougat and light fudge scents. The palate is medium-bodied with fine balance and a fresh line of acidity. Flavours of clementine, pear and wild mint give this Sauternes plenty of character, although I would not leave it much longer if you have some in your cellar. Tasted at the 1995 Bordeaux off-line at Piccolino in London.
