Deep ruby-red. Inky aromas of blackberry, licorice and menthol. Fat, sweet, chocolatey and mouthfilling, but a bit heavy (this was not vinified by Potel). Large-scaled, full-blown Vosne that comes across as less complete and less long than the Nuits Boudots.
