Medium red. Enticing, slightly high-toned aromas of baking spices, rose petal and mint. Silky and fat, with strong spice and mint character. A fairly large-scaled premier cru, finishing with sweet tannins and pronounced oakiness.

Cask sample Ridiculously heavy bottle is out of synch with the rather lightweight wine (on the nose, anyway). Quite concentrated, intense, brooding palate impact, but lacks lift. Worthy. (JR)
