2000 Vosne Romanee Beaumonts

Full deep red. Complex, tangy aromas of black raspberry, espresso, mocha, brown spices and minerals. Juicy and firm, with lovely cut and grip. Insinuating dark berry flavors linger nicely on the firmly tannic back end. This has not yet been racked, and was far easier to taste than a Vosne Chaume that had been racked the day prior to my visit.
