Note di degustazione
This wine was aged in French and American oak for ten months prior to being bottled unfiltered. It is a blend of estate grown Mourvedre, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Tempranillo. The wine offers beautiful purity, admirable ripeness, and a mouthfilling, fleshy personality. There are 3,000 cases of this blockbuster, sweet, jammy, black fruit-scented and flavored Tinto. This teeth-staining, seriously endowed red will drink well for 2-3 years. Importer: Jorge Ordonez, Fine Estates From Spain, Dedham, MA; tel. (781) 461-5767

Medium-deep red. Reduced, musky nose dominated by licorice and menthol. Big, chewy and full in the mouth, with bitter chocolate, menthol and licorice flavors. A rather powerful wine for the price, but less fruity than the 1999 version. Perhaps best suited for the cheese course.
