Note di degustazione
Red-ruby. Aromas of blackberry liqueur and violet. Sweet and fat but fresh; like a coulis of blackberry and cassis lifted by violet pastille. Concentrated and confectionery; exotically ripe but not at all flat. Finishes with substantial tannins that arrive late. An impressive village wine.

Ruby-red. Pure aromas of dark berries and violet, with a liqueur-like suggestion of surmaturite Superrich and dense, with compelling sweetness in the mouth. Just this side of heavy, and thus not at all typical for a Fourrier wine. Finishes with dusty tannins and very good length. "We had a good amount of rain in Gevrey-Chambertin on August 14 and 16, which was a great help to the vines," noted Fourrier, "but there was virtually no rain here, which made for more difficult conditions."
CS. Sample a bit tired on the nose. A little skinny and lacking freshness on the palate. (JR)
