Note di degustazione
Medium red. A perfumed, spicy basket of red fruits on the nose. Silky and opulent, with a satisfying fine-grained texture to the flavors of redcurrant, spices and licorice. Finishes with a hint of torrefaction and sweet tannins. A terrific village wine.

Palish bright red. Slightly reduced aromas of minerals and smoke. Chewy, saline and dry, offering a rather suave texture and finishing savory and firm. A bit Chambolle-like and a good candidate to pair with white meats. These vines were planted in 1928 at a density of 12,000 to the hectare.
South of village, planted 1928 just below Mazoyères. 12,000 vines/ha. Bright cherry red. Broad and rich and really quite sweet, almost gamey. Sweet and smooth. Not so vital but very flattering. Long. (JR)
A deft touch of wood sets off aromas of red and blue pinot fruit, earth, humus and subtle spice notes. There is a lovely coolness to the pure and well-detailed middle weight flavors that possess good ripeness of the supporting tannins, all wrapped in a mildly austere and balanced finish. This is very Gevrey in character but there is a sense of refinement as well as the structure is finely grained. Tasted: Jan 14, 2013. Drink: 2017+
