Punteggio 95/100 · Da bere 2022-2027, Eric Guido, Vinous, Jun 2022

The 2009 Teroldego Granato is deep and rich, yet also incredibly floral. Sweet tobacco and herbs, hints of dried citrus, strawberries and animal musk form its bouquet. This is a pure pleasure on the palate, silky and pliant with ripe, fleshy red berries and sweet inner spices. Its lifted acidity adds remarkable freshness, even as rounded tannins linger and hints of tangerine propel the experience even further. The 2009 is showing brilliantly today and in no fear of decline. This is a flat-out stunning Granato, and also the first vintage that it was matured completely in large cask.

Punteggio 91/100 · Da bere 2015-2021, Monica Larner, Wine Advocate, Oct 2014

Displaying greater harmony than the 2010, the 2009 Teroldego Granato is made in open fermenters and aged in botte for 15 months. Dark chocolate, exotic spice and ripe plum segue to richness and thickness of texture. The length of the finish, that can be counted in long minutes, sets this wine apart. Fresh acidity will help it age over the years.

Punteggio 95/100 · Da bere 2014-2024, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, May 2013

Once again, the 2009 Granato is flat-out dazzling. The marriage of flashy, opulent fruit and intense underlying minerality results in a wine of superb completeness. Readers will find a wine of immense and immediate pleasure in the 2009. The soft contours and radiant personality are so compelling. Granato fans should cellar the 2010 for a few years and drink the 2009 in the meantime. This is another absolutely glorious wine from Elisabetta Foradori. The 2009 was aged in equal parts cask and barrique.
