Slightly sweaty aromas of vineyard peach, apple, curry powder and lightly charred oak. Spicy and penetrating, with bright, firm-edged flavors of Granny Smith apple, lime zest, minerals and lees. Very suave, pure, understated chardonnay.

The 2002 Chardonnay Estate is a good introduction to the Rochioli style. It offers classic Russian River tropical fruit characteristics intertwined with smoke, hazelnut, and racy acidity.
