The 2007 Corvina La Poja comes across as big, rich and voluptuous. Dark red fruit, flowers, spices, French oak and licorice are some of the notes that take shape as this layered wine opens up in the glass. I especially like the enveloping, sensual finish here. La Poja is 100% Corvina that spends 28 months in new French oak barrels.
