Punteggio 16.5/20 · Jancis Robinson MW, Jun 2003

Impressively dark and pruney for the vintage. Warm, oaky, ripe and opulent considering the vintage – though there's little finesse. Served alone it would probably be impressively throat-warming but served with the following three vintages, its dry finish was intrusive. A talented chef thought it was a Napa Cabernet. 'Very good for the vintage' (like its sister property Roc de Cambes in the Côte de Bourg) is probably the over-riding verdict. (JR)

Punteggio 83/100 · Da bere 1994-1999, Robert Parker, Feb 1994

Ironically, the 1991 reveals more depth, ripeness, and fruit than the excessively woody, diluted, light-bodied 1992. If you are contemplating buying either wine, the soft, berry, oaky, medium-bodied 1991 will provide pleasant drinking for 4-5 years.
