Pegau produced only 607 bottles of the 1997 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Cuvée Justine, a one-off cuvée that Laurence Féraud created to honor the birth of her daughter, Justine. Despite hailing from a challenging vintage, the 1997 is a ravishingly beautiful Châteauneuf-du-Pape, and anyone fortunate enough to secure one of the remaining few bottles can count themselves as really, really lucky. On the nose, it dazzles with a beguiling minty streak, intertwined with subtle licorice, forest floor, tobacco, iodine and blackberry liqueur nuances.
