Note di degustazione
A well-made, deep ruby/purple-tinged wine with notes of dried herbs, damp earth, incense and new saddle leather, this is a heady, attractive, fruit-driven wine with moderate structure behind its initial attack. Anticipated maturity: now-2013.

Very deep purple. Sweet, and a little light. Very, very dry tannins and lots of acidity. Some greenness. Easy on the mid-palate. (JR)
Deep blackish crimson. Youthful and lively with lots of refreshing rather than uncomfortable acidity. Vitality but no great weight or even substance. A palate freshener rather than a palate satisfier or intriguer. Crisp luncheon claret (talk about damning with faint praise...) (JR)
Good blackberry and floral character follows through to a medium body with firm tannins and a light finish. Short. Slightly disappointing. Best after 2005. 10,000 cases made. – James Suckling, Wine Spectator 2005
