Note di degustazione
This is one of the finest Dauzacs to date. The 1999's opaque purple color is followed by aromas and flavors of black currant and blueberry fruit, Asian spices, minerals, smoke, and toasty new oak. It is powerful and extracted, with low acidity. It will be at its best between 2003-2016.

Offers sweet berry as well as hints of old jam on the nose. Full-bodied, with slightly chewy, woody tannins that give off a vanilla character. Cool fruit.'89/'99 Bordeaux blind retrospective (2009). Drink now. 8,330 cases made. – James Suckling, Wine Spectator 2010
