Magnum. Strong garnet colour. Real evolution on the nose – which is not that common among these 2003s. Juicy (not marred by drying tannins) with fruit and some charm. Nicely composed and refreshing without too much sweetness. And certainly not too alcoholic and not too tannic. Is this really a 2003?! Quite a charmer. Nice length. It isn’t savoury but it is well balanced. (JR)
