Mid garnet. Lots of development on the nose. Slightly obvious oak but masses of ripe fruit. Bumptious is how I would describe it. Not subtle but offers lots of pleasure and fruit, in an oaky register. (JR)

70% new oak. Racked four weeks ago. Headily perfumed. Pure fruit that is still a little fresh and definitely quite lightweight. Chewy finish. Should make a pretty though hardly mind-blowing bottle. (JR)
A touch of wood spice adds breadth to the black cherry and red pinot fruit suffused nose. There is good volume to the supple, round and silky middle weight flavors that are delicious, seductive and beautifully balanced. A lovely villages that is very Chambolle in basic character and one that should drink well young if desired. Tasted: Jan 15, 2014. Drink: 2017+
