Note di degustazione
Medium red. Sappy, rich but youthfully subdued nose offers black fruits, spices and exotic floral oils, with sexy suggestions of white peach and mango emerging with aeration. Then very rich and brilliantly delineated in the mouth, with grand cru weight and fruit intensity. This sweet, velvety wine really saturates the palate with raspberry, flowers and minerals. Very classy juice, but give it four or five years in the cellar.

Deep ruby-red. The nose shows a darker character than the Suchots: black cherry, dark chocolate, licorice and menthol. Dense, broad and perfumed but rather brooding today, with less in the way of treble notes than the Suchots. This is velvety rather than silky in the sense of more weight on the palate. A big boy, finishing with mineral and underbrush nuances and serious structure. This is the last year in which Bouchard got these grapes in a trade with the Montille family.
