Deep red-ruby color. Smoky aromas of torrefaction: mocha and coffee, with a hint of iron. More powerful and sweeter than the Beaumonts, with impressive power for the vintage. The tannins coat the entire palate on the long back end. Serious juice, with very good weight and breadth.
