Sweet and easy. Not distinguished but correct and a bit tough. (JR)

Animal. Gamey. Fills the palate. Not TOO furry. Should please modernists. Not bad – and certainly not mean. (JR)
A dark plum color is followed by a bouquet of smoke, licorice, plums, and sweet cherries in this well-made, medium-bodied Pomerol. With sweet tannin as well as a savory mouthfeel, it should provide plenty of pleasure over the next 10-12 years.
Very polished and fine though not desperately Pomerol! Good winemaking. 13%. Nice balance. (JR)
Informazioni sul produttore

Named after its founder, Bernard Beauregard, this property is one of few Pomerol addresses to have an actual château – here a stately 18th-century construction designed by the man behind Bordeaux’s Grand Théâtre.
