Bright cherry red. Pure savoury, sappy and racy. A lovely Nuits. Real hallmark of terroir with an edge of griottes cherries. Some sweetness on the finish. Very long. (JR)

Medium red. Sexy aromas of red berries, minerals, mocha, truffle and leather. Sweet, fruity and fleshy if a bit reduced (these crus were about to be racked for the first time), with good pinot sap. Finishes persistent and strong, with sweet tannins. Very pinot.
