Magnum. Dark ruby with a blackish cast. Just a little bit of decay on the nose. But of an appetising old cabbage sort rather than dusty and mould. Very firm acidity. Very youthful. Just a slight lack of sumptuous fruit to compensate for the acidity. Needs lots of time. Still a bit drying on the end. (JR)
