Mid ruby. Bright red fruit – raspberry even cranberry freshness but there’s also a rich and softening layer of oak spice over the fruit. Lovely balance of creamy fruit, plush tannins and fresh acidity. Very persistent without being demanding. Generous fruit and fulness with no excess weight. (JH)
