Note di degustazione
Good bright, full red. Pungent aromas of spices, sassafras and tea leaf suggest a strong stem influence, not to mention new oak. Supple, sweet and mysterious; very ripe, round and full but with no excess weight. Highly complex, soil-driven flavors of cola, pepper, Provencal herbs and black olive. Finishes very long and vibrant, with subtle rising perfume and a powerful impression of terroir. Exhilarating grand cru from century-old vines.

(from 100-year-old vines): Deep red with ruby highlights. Wild, slightly reduced aroma dominated by black raspberry. Sappy, saline and mouthfilling, with the black fruit flavors carrying through on the palate. Most impressive today on the extremely long aftertaste, which features substantial dusty tannins and strong soil tones. Has the material to handle its 100% new oak.
