Note di degustazione
Good full red-ruby. Very primary, vibrant aromas of dark berries, black cherry, violet and peppery spices. Sweet, spicy and sappy, with terrific grip and energy to the fruit-driven flavors. Nothing animal about this! The wine's compelling sweetness is buffered by its peppery soil tones and whiff of peony. Slowly mounting, sappy finish offers superb persistence.

(entirely from the Chambolle side of the appellation, says Laurent) Ruby-red. Explosive aromas of dark raspberry, cherry liqueur, mocha, brown spices and roasted herbs. Creamy-rich and superconcentrated, with a mineral pungency buffering the wine's sweetness. Wonderfully aromatic in the mouth, with exhilarating notes of spices, chalk, rose and peony. This powerful, youthfully tight wine will require at least eight or ten years of bottle aging.
