First bottle seemed to have slight TCA aroma. Second bottle sweeter and richer though still with a leafiness on the nose and not a huge amount of flesh. Juicy in the middle and very fine grained tannins. (JH)

Lightly grey crimson. Mild mannered, pleasing, not showy nose. Great balance – lovely Margaux expression. Neat tannins on the finish and a good suppleness of texture. (JR)

Historically Château Labégorce was one of the largest estates in the Médoc. It was originally owned by the Grosse family (or Gorce – hence the name) whose ownership dates back to the 14th century.
