Note di degustazione
The 1996 Climens is attractive on the nose with vibrant scents of barley sugar, saffron, mandarin and melted wax. Fine delineation, it meliorates in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied, poised and a little more citrus than expected, tangerine and honey mixed with ginger towards the finish that fans out with confidence. Excellent.

Very bright Lucozade colour. Very timid nose – too much sulphur? Then neat and fresh and with real fruit core in the middle. Not that sweet – good balance. Still quite youthful. Shame it’s so inexpressive on the nose. (JR)
TA 4.3 g/l (sulphuric), RS 104 g/l. Fragrant and very pure and almost delicate on the nose – smells and tastes younger than the 1997. Less complex at the moment, still so pure and primary in its apricot and pineapple fruit. Silky, fresh and lively in a refined and delicate mode. (JH)
