Note di degustazione
Good medium red. Highly nuanced nose combines iron, smoke, game and an element of Asian spices that continues straight through to the finish. Juicy and penetrating on the palate, with complex soil tones and a mineral element that contributes energy and grip. This backward wine needs at least five years of patience.

Good deep red-ruby. Musky redcurrant, brown spices, crushed stone and a whiff of caraway seed on the nose. Sappy, pure and sharply delineated, with a dominant and very primary flavor of crushed raspberry. Quite suave and very youthful. This wine, from vines around 50 years of age, was vinified entirely with whole clusters. Hervet emphasized that although there was hail damage in nearby Haut-Doix and Charmes, this vineyard escaped in 2006.
