Note di degustazione
Healthy bright red. Wild strawberry, raspberry and underbrush on the nose and palate. Rich and silky in the mouth, showing lovely mid-palate sweetness and texture but still youthful and holding something back. No shortage of energy here but the tannins are less refined than, for example, the 2013 version of this wine. "I was looking for a little more alcohol back then," said Clavelier. "I did more punchdowns later in the fermentation and also did a bit more post-fermentation maceration." This wine may yet soften with more bottle age.

Medium red. Perfumed, floral aromas of red cherry and rose petal. Sweet, penetrating and sappy wine with captivating freshness and mineral/floral character. Extremely dense, with a texture of satin-in the style of a Musigny. This really coats the palate with flavor and finishes with superb lift and grip.
**Note: planted to vines of 20 and 65 years of age that sit directly above Musigny** Plumy, superbly elegant aromas of extract of pinot fruit combine with wonderfully pure, intense and detailed middle weight flavors underpinned by dusty tannins that are buffered by copious sap. This is punchy, long and classy but it's awkward and disjointed on the finish today. This should come together with time but it's a question mark at the moment even though everything that is necessary is here.
Good bright red with ruby highlights. Highly complex, vibrant aromas of black raspberry, framboise and minerals. Superconcentrated and extremely suave, with dense, sappy, vibrant fruit; the wine's inner-mouth energy calls to mind Musigny. Finishes serious and very long. This is always a terrific cuvee
