Inky ruby. Deeply spiced aromas of plum, cherry and blackberry, with a meaty topnote. Crisp, focused and energetic, with vibrant dark berry flavors complicated by cracked pepper and olive and framed by lively acids. The brisk finish features a kick of tangy rhubarb.

The 2004 Shiraz is an outstanding offering. Its explosive bouquet of blackberries, cassis, licorice, and smoke is followed by a deep, lush, fruit-driven red with full body, a silky texture, and a heady, long finish.
