Punteggio 88-89/100 · Da bere 2013-2020, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Feb 2012

The 2010 Chambolle-Musigny is a lovely wine with plenty of village character in its sexy, perfumed red fruit. This is all grace and class and also very pretty within its peer group. The Chambolle is made from parcels in Les Bussières and Les Nazoires.

Sweet fruit and sweet oak spice. Smooth, soft, friendly and a juicy fresh finish. Lots of energy. (JH)

The Chambolle is made from parcels in Les Bussieres and Les Nazoires. Anticipated maturity: 2013-2020. Laurent Lignier began harvesting on September 30 and finished on October 5. Yields were down approximately 30-35% across the board because of the cold summer. Lignier reported that the fruit required minimal sorting but the bunches were very small. The 2010s had not been racked at the time of my tastings. Lignier planned to bottle in the spring of 2012 with no fining or filtration. Importer: Rosenthal Wine Merchant, Pine Plains, NY; tel.
