This is almost a hypothetical mix of the Maizières and the Clos de la Fontaine as it borrows aromas from both before dissolving into silky-textured, dusty and mouth coating medium-bodied flavors that possess a bit less volume and power but are finer. Descended from the Gros family of Vosne-Romanée, Anne-Françoise Gros established her own domaine in 1988. Today her children, Caroline and Mathias Parent, run the estate, which has some impressive holdings, focused in and around Vosne-Romanée.
