Mid crimson. Strange but rather comforting toasty note on the nose. Not top drawer for complexity but lots of pleasure for the money. Makes me think there must be lots of delicious, well-priced lesser 2001s around… GV (JR)
Relatively pale. Dark grey crimson. Full and relatively luscious on the nose. Then very dry and austere and even slightly green on the palate. (JR)
Deep crimson. Very warm, long-macerated red fruits nose. Good try with lots of silky appeal at the start, but slightly pinched finish. (JR)

The Cuvelier family, which also owns Clos Fourtet, purchased this estate in 2008. It is one of the stars of the appellation, renowned for producing wine that is well above the standard of its neighbours.
