Tasted blind. Dark blackish crimson. On the cusp of oxidised. Just too ripe for comfort though the sweetness would be comforting for those who had no experience of beautifully balanced, complex Pomerol. Tarry, hot finish. (JR)
Blackish. Meaty and subtle. Lots of real vibration here. Much reward! Dry finish but only after masses of sweet fruit. Heston's meat fruit?! (JR)
Bright, deep ruby-red. Very ripe aromas of cherry, leather, game, mocha and smoke. Plush, sweet, concentrated and seamless, showing an opulent texture to its flavors of black cherry, dark raspberry, mocha and toffee. Very tactile, dense wine with tongue-coating dusty tannins and very good length. Seriously rich for this property, and sexy already.
