Healthy ruby with lots of evolution at the rim. Very light bouquet. Dusty tannins. Acid evident. Not very harmonious. Pretty chewy tannins. (JR)

This dark ruby-colored, evolved, lush, sexy Pomerol offers aromas of licorice, dried herbs, asphalt, and sweet currant/cherry fruit. While it does not have a great deal of weight or persistence on the palate, it is up-front, mainstream, appealing, and accessible. Enjoy it over the next decade.
Offers tobacco and coffee bean aromas, with sweet berry and sliced plum. Medium- to full-bodied, featuring velvety, polished tannins and a delicious finish. Can't wait on this one. Better than I remember.¿'89/'99 Bordeaux blind retrospective (2009). Drink now. James Suckling, Wine Spectator 2010.
