Thankfully, beginning with the 1996 vintage, the highly-talented Michel Rolland has been brought in to work his magic with this well-placed Pomerol property. As the following tasting notes attest, this wine has not been living up to its potential. Dark ruby-colored, with a vegetal, herbal nose, this thin, emaciated wine is undistinguished. Drink it over the next 5-6 years.
