Note di degustazione
The 2007 Liot has a light marmalade, adhesive nose that lacks real complexity. The palate is better with good acidity, yet it is missing personality and feels a bit staid on the finish. Not undrinkable, but is lacking class. Tasted at the 2007 horizontal in Sauternes.

Although this did not perform well at primeur, the Liot 2007 has improved considerably throughout its elevage and is a worthy addition to the vintage. The nose is reticent at first, opening up gradually to reveal barley sugar, dried apricot and quince aromas. The palate is medium-bodied, with good weight and acidity, not a complex Sauternes, conservative, but fresh on the finish with pleasant white peach, apricot and barley sugar flavours. It would benefit from more length, but overall this constitutes a decent Sauternes. Drink now-2018.
Pale. Round and honeyed. Actually more exciting than its ranking suggests with very tight, well-focused botrytis. Some marmalade character. Well done! This should be a very good buy. Very lively. (JR)
