One of the more attractive 1977s with surprisingly ripe character, and not marred by too much acidity or vegetal aromas, the 1977 Ducru will continue to improve. This medium-bodied wine is good with solid fruit, yet it is not complex. The wine has some charming attributes to it. Anticipated maturity: Now-may be in decline. Last tasted, 2/84.
