Good deep red. Superripe but reticent aromas of deep red fruits. Ripe but dry and penetrating, with lovely subtle intensity of flavor complemented by sweet oak. An elegant wine with excellent thrust and persistence. "Like a smaller Charmes," notes Serafin. This is excellent.

Good full red. Pretty aromas of raspberry, blackberry and flowers. Juicy and bright; ripe and sweet but not at all overly so. The vines on this steep, rocky slope were not quite so rich in potential alcohol but also retained better acidity. Finishes with dusty, building tannins.
