Note di degustazione
Good deep red. Flowers and a whiff of black olive on the nose, with a suggestion of briary berries; less primary than the village wine. Fat and sweet but closed and not currently revealing its personality; hard to taste today. This has good fat along with a faintly peppery quality. Needs a good four or five years of patience.

(from vines dating back to the 1920s; almost entirely spared by hail in 2004, according to Bachelet) Good red-ruby color. Wonderfully pure, vibrant aromas of blackberry, violet and spices. Dense, lively and firmly built; penetrating and palate-coating. Juicy flavors of blackberry, cassis and licorice. Firmly structured wine that's likely to be long-lived for the year.
Lovely richness and purity. Lots of gas, but great richness and balance. (JR)
