Note di degustazione
Tasted at the Chambolle Amoureuses vertical in London, the 2001 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru les Amoureuses was deeper in color than the millennial vintage, however, I noticed some fatigue on the nose that was musky and more fungal than expected. It was not corked, but this bottle was clearly "off-color," so I will refrain from scoring this wine. Tasted November 2015.

Medium red. Perfumed aromas of cherry, raspberry, redcurrant and spicy oak. Supple on entry, then surprisingly loose-knit in the middle, with moderately concentrated red fruit and chocolate flavors. Thins out a bit toward the back, finishing with a slight dryness. Can this bottle be representative?
