2004 Vosne Romanee Les Suchots

Good medium red. Pure aromas of red fruits lifted by spices and rose petal; less mocha and underbrush here than in the Nuits bottlings. A lovely fruity 2004 with enticing flavors of spicy red berries; more charming than the Clos des Forets Saint-Georges but with a bit less energy. Finishes with firm-edged tannins and very good length.
