Note di degustazione
Good full red. Exotic, liqueur-like aromas of cherry, raspberry and truffle. Fat, plump and sweet; superconcentrated and rich. Enticing cherry flavor is nicely framed by ripe, harmonious acids. In fact, this very full, fleshy wine shows wonderful vinosity for 2003. The wine's considerable underlying power is in the background today. Finishes with very fine tannins and palate-saturating fruit.

Produced from 40-year old vines located immediately behind Serafin’s cellar, the 2003 Gevrey-Chambertin Cazetiers offers aromas of red and black cherries. This wonderful wine is medium to full-bodied, highly concentrated, palate-staining, and intense. Massive layers of red fruits are found in its boisterous, extremely persistent character. Drink it between 2007 and 2019. Importer: Robert Kacher Selections, Washington, DC; tel. (202) 832-9083
Bright, full red. Sexy, perfumed aromas of raspberry, redcurrant and flowers, with suggestions of spices, nuts and herbs; candied but not roasted. Like the Millandes, this is in a distinctly masculine style and currently folded in on itself. Not particularly sweet or fat but finishes with fine tannins and subtle persistence. This offers excellent potential but will need a good five or six years of patience.
