Note di degustazione
Very dark and browning slightly. Sweet Ribena-like black fruit aroma. Lithe and supple on the palate, very dark and coaly, no concessions to those looking for fruit right now. Dry grippy tannins and a bit salty on the finish. Not much pleasure, yet. (JH)

Another up-and-coming, highly respected estate of the Comtes von Neipperg, this 2011 offers copious aromas of spice box, fruitcake, baking spices, sweet cherries and exotic Asian fruits. With an up-front, forward, juicy, medium to full-bodied, fleshy style, it is a treat to drink now, and should continue to age effortlessly for a decade or more. Noticeable tannins in the finish suggest it may age even longer. It is a sleeper of the vintage.
Red cherry fruit and dark plums, dry yet fresh. A bit light in the middle but persistent. (JH)
