This could be a very good Dassault if it is not excessively fined and filtered prior to bottling. The wine offers a saturated purple color, a sweet, fleshy character, and plenty of guts and appeal. It remains to be seen how much of the mid-palate and aromatics will be left after bottling. Anticipated maturity: 1999-2006.
