Note di degustazione
The 2012 Hosanna is powerful on the nose and quite intense with red fruit, leather, animal fur and truffle. This could not be anything else but Pomerol. The palate is medium-bodied and well balanced with firm tannins and a fine bead of acidity, quite refined and poised, though not mind-boggling in terms of complexity. Yet it does convey a sense of style and panache, though there might be just a touch of brett on the finish. Tasted blind at the Southwold Ten-Year On tasting.

Sweet raspberry, plump damson and blueberry, smoked and grilled cedar and unfussy earth notes, this is enjoyable, plenty of Pomerol signature ready to drink sliding towards the first tertiary notes, gourmet brioche texure also, uncomplicated and ready to go. 50% new oak.
Tasted blind. Mid ruby. Shaded rim. Relatively monolithic. Concentrated – almost exaggerated – but not quite and with great depth without bitterness. Decent finish. (JR)
The 2012 Hosanna is a powerhouse, incredibly sexy beauty that’s right up there at the top of the scale. Made from 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc, this deep ruby/purple colored beauty boasts knockout notes of blackcurrants, dried tobacco, spice box, forest floor and graphite. While it’s a big, rich, full-bodied effort, it just glides across the palate with a weightless, elegant texture. With sweet tannin, a layered, seamless personality and a big finish, this is an incredible wine that’s already offering pleasure, yet will keep for another 15-20 years.
Informazioni sul produttore

Château Hosanna is a relatively young wine label in Pomerol, but one with some of the richest heritage in the entire region. It couldn’t be better situated with Château Lafleur to the north, Vieux Château Certan to the south and flanked on either side by Pétrus and Château Lafleur-Pétrus.
