Note di degustazione
Full red. Spicy red fruits on the nose. Offers good stuffing, with fresh flavors of redcurrant, spices, minerals and earth. A rather suave, firmly structured midweight, with enticing inner-mouth perfume. Finishes with firm-edged tannins that call for at least a few years of cellaring.

Quite gentle and fruity compared to other Nuits from Bouchard Père et Fils. Quite racy and complete and open. (JR)
Full ruby-red. Black plum, black cherry, violet, smoke and earth on the nose; comes across as cooler than the Clos Saint-Marc. Fat, sweet and lush for a 2001; this has an impressively layered texture. Finishes long and strong, with sweet tannins and subtle lingering fruit flavors. An excellent showing. Yields in Bouchard's Nuits-Saint-Georges holdings were generally low in 2001, said Hervet.
