Note di degustazione
Scents of dried Provencal herbs, spicy new oak, red currants, and a hint of cassis jump from the glass of this dark ruby/plum-colored 1999. The wine is soft and seductive, with cherry and licorice characteristics discernable in the flavors. It can be drunk now and over the next 6-10 years.

Pretty aromas of licorice, spice and flowers. Medium-bodied, with velvety tannins and a long finish. Best after 2004. James Suckling, Wine Spectator

Medium-deep ruby-red. High-pitched aromas of blueberry, violet, lead pencil, roasted oak and mint. Juicy and intensely flavored though not especially pliant for a young '99. Finishes with firm, somewhat tough tannins and a hint of mint.
