Dark crimson. Almost as good as the 2000 – just a bit skinnier. Dark chocolate flavours, very pleasing. Good balance. Acidity higher but less body and extract than 2000, but not tart. (JR)

Deep crimson. Scented. Very attractive, with real bite. Another wine with a beginning, middle and end to it. Very vigorous. Very slightly green note in evidence now. (JR)
