Fine and refined with nice ripe fruit, powder-fine tannin and a good juicy finish. Rather lovely in a modern style.

Rich fruit cake and sweet spice on the nose and palate. Emphasises perfume – admirably typical of the terroir, albeit with lighter body than many. (RH)
Deep black cherry colour. Ripe and figgy but also with a coaly darkness. The ripeness is the main impression. Same on the palate – lacks freshness of fruit though the tannins are smoothed. Loss of energy. (JH)
Cedar wood, cassis, red plum and coffee, tannic, medium bodied and a gentle, bright, red berry finish.-Jeff Leve, theWineCellarInsider.com
